PHOTOGRAPH AND SELF TAPE INSTRUCTIONS

All tapes should be filmed on a phone, landscape, with a clear background and preferably naturally lit via a window behind the camera. Please ensure that the camera is held still and there is no background noise. Please send us the following;

PHOTOGRAPHS

Please upload 2 current photographs. Taken on your phone is absolutely fine. 1 full length and 1 head and shoulders only. Please wear a plain top and have neat and tidy hair. If successful, this shot will be used as your holding photo until your professional headshot is taken. Please label images:

NAME-HEADSHOT, NAME-FULL LENGTH

IDENT

Filmed introduction. Please look directly into camera and state your name, age, height and location. Then please tell us a little about yourself, why you love to perform and talk about any relevant experience.

COMMERCIAL TAPE

Please film the following; Ask your child to sit at a table and imagine there is a plate of pasta and a fork in front of them. (Please use a prop plate and fork for this. You do not need to use actual pasta) They smell the pasta and it is smells really good. They start to eat the pasta and then suddenly their fork becomes alive. The fork starts to dance. They react to this.

SCRIPTED TAPE

Please film your child performing a short-scripted monologue. If your child does LAMDA this can be one of their exam pieces. Please look slightly off camera for this delivery.

SKILLS TAPE

If your child has any additional skills, please film them performing these. For example, a short song, a short section of dance or gymnastics (If your child takes formal graded dance or gymnastics classes) If they possess any other skills that are tricky to demonstrate on screen for example sailing or swimming, please talk about these and state any relevant qualifications
